Fairgate L-squares are essential instruments for fashion designers (to transfer tape measurement of human figure to flat patterns), picture framers, and artists. These sturdy aluminum tools will provide a lifetime of service, yet they are lightweight and easy to handle. Precision incrementation and clear, easy-to-read numerals help ensure consistent, accurate results. Each arm is calibrated two edges, two sides, except #50-324, calibrated outer edges only.
On English L-squares, the long arm is calibrated in 8ths / 24ths, 12ths, 6ths, 3rds, and 2/3rds; 8ths on reverse--Short arm is 8ths / 32nds, 16ths, 8ths, 4ths, halves; 8ths on reverse:
#50-108 is 16" x 8".
#50-120 is 20" x 12".
#50-124 is 24" x 14".
Metric L-square is centimeters / centimeters in 24ths, 12ths, 6ths, 3rds, 2/3rds; centimeters in millimeters on reverse:
#50-235 is 615mm x 355mm.
English/Metric L-square is calibrated on both arms in inches in 8ths on one side and centimeters in millimeters on reverse:
